Book Cover Artists & Illustrators for Indie Authors
A cover is the first thing a reader judges. These artists and illustrators design covers, wraps and interior art for independent and small-press authors, and every one of them can be hired directly.
Open a profile to see the artist's style, rates and the covers they have already made for books in our store. When you are ready, start a cover project: you share the brief, they send drafts, you approve the front, back or full wrap, and the finished files drop straight into your book in Studio.

How do I hire a cover artist here?
Open an artist's profile and contact them through the links on it, or start a cover project from your author account. In a cover project the artist quotes inside the project and you pay through Triumvirate, so the money is held until the work is delivered: the artist is paid half when you pay and half when you approve the final cover.
Do the artists get credit on my book?
Yes. Once you approve a cover, the book's page in our store shows "Cover art by" with a link to the artist, and the cover appears in the artist's portfolio here.
Can I use the cover for print and eBook?
Drafts can be a front cover, a back cover or a full wrap sized from your book's trim and page count, so the same work covers paperback, hardcover and eBook.
