As a beta reader, my job is to tell you how your book feels to read: where the story pulls me in, where it drags, which characters feel real, and where I got confused. I don’t rewrite your work. I give you clear, specific, kind feedback so you can decide what to do with it. I also work as an editor, so I can point out bigger structural issues when I see them, but beta reading is about your reader experience first.
