From Finished Manuscript to For-Sale Edition: How Triumvirate Direct Works

Pricing, bindings, and a live listing -- without touching the plumbing

By Triumvirate Books · September 6, 2026

Writing the book is your job. Turning it into a product -- print specs, barcodes, price sheets, store listings -- should not be. Triumvirate Direct is the bridge: it takes the files Studio produced and turns them into a real edition on our bookstore, ready to sell.

Choose your editions

One book can ship as up to five bindings: paperback, hardcover, spiral, comic, and our linen-wrap with gold-foil stamping -- the kind of edition small presses charge collector prices for. Every copy is printed on demand when a reader orders, so there is no print run to finance and no inventory to store.

Price with your eyes open

The pricing calculator shows the whole equation before you commit: print cost for your exact page count and binding, our share, and -- most importantly -- what lands in your pocket per copy. Move the price slider and watch your royalty move with it. You set the price; everything above cost is yours to keep.

Go live without the plumbing

When you publish, Direct creates the store listing, wires every binding to the right print specification, and connects the order pipeline -- so when a reader buys your paperback at 2 a.m., the printer starts that exact copy without anyone lifting a finger. Orders, printing, shipping, and royalty tracking all happen automatically behind your listing.

Your rights stay yours

No exclusivity, no term lock-ins. Publish the same book anywhere else you like, unpublish here whenever you choose. Direct exists to sell your book, not to own it.

If your manuscript is ready, an author account is the only thing between you and a live edition.
